Battle Report: District 24

Lone Pathfinder (Yu Jing) vs Fued Oner (Shock Army of Acontecimento)
Scribe: Dulydude

250 points, YAMS (4 turns), City Streets Table
Lone Pathfinder's Objectives: Search the Crate, Triangulation, Blockade, Kill the Boffin
Fued Oner's Objectives: Kill the Boffin, Attrition, Hold!, Prize Fighter

Deployment
Fued chose first turn, Lone chose the southern side and deploy first. Lone deployed traditionally behind the southern buildings, with a Celestial Guard controller and a war correspondent on top of the true south building. He secretly deploys a ninja sniper also on the roof top.

Fued deploys with a Sierra dronbot on top of the northern bunker with a Dragoes TAG near by. He also deploys a Bagh-Mari link team on on the western side of the NW building, and a minesweeper with a Machinist behind the northern building.

Lone then deploys his reserve, a Shang Ji hacker, next to the Celestial Guard.

Turn 1
Fued beings by moving his link team from the NW towards the western tower, then through down around the western side of the South sky scraper to open fire on Lone’s domaru, Rue shi and Kuang Shi with an HMG. The Bagh-Mari manages to take out all three in 2 consecutive orders, but falls to the Kuang Shi chain rifle.

Lone, in a bit of trouble, quickly cancels his Shaolin’s impetous before revealing his ninja sniper, who makes short work of the Sierra Dronbot on the other side of the map. Deciding to put Fued on the back foot, he AD’s a Tiger Solider right behind Fued’s minesweeper and machinist, taking them out before they have a chance to properly react and gaining 1VP in the process. The tiger solider quickly turns on the Dragoes, managing to put 2 wounds on it despite Fued needing to roll 5+ to make the save! The tiger solider then beings to fall back (while still firing), and while he manages to destroy the TAG, the Dragoes’ flamethrower ensure the Tiger soldier won’t fight another day.

Turn 2
Fued, starting in retreat, cancels’ the Bagh-Mari retreat and presses towards the southern building’s stair case, and manages to boarding shotgun both the Ninja sniper and the war correspondent.
Lone, after moving his impetuous Kuang Shi and Shaloin, opens by dropping a smoke grenade on the southern staircase, and then advancing the Shang Ji towards the Bagh-Mari, now on the stairs too. Unable to perform an intuitive shot, the Shang Ji emerges from the smoke to flame the enemy troopers, killing 2 more of the link team while taking a wound himself.

Turn 3
Fued, now limited with orders, chooses to retreat his 2 remaining soldiers. While they make their retreat they manage to kill the Shang Ji, gaining 2 VP for Kill the Boffin and another one for Prize Fighter, netting him 3VP in one hit! They then attempt to kill the Celestial Guard but fail.
Lone, now also in retreat, only cancel’s the Shaolin impetuous, before moving him further around the south towards the Bagh-Mari, killing one of them despite the difficult shot. Finally the Celestial Guard on the roof top open fires at the remaining Bagh-Mari finally destroying Fued’s force.

Turn 4
With the remaining order’s that Lone has, he attempts to get to the crate, but fails to do so. Lone gains Blockade (1VP)

Conclusion
Lone Pathfinder - 2 VPs, Fued Oner - 3 VPs
Fued Oner wins!

Battle Report: Fortification 5

Campaign night 2
Kommandant Eganra vs James
Ariadna vs Military Orders, 250
Scribe: Dulydude

Fighting for: Fortification 5 (Eganra won battlefield roll)
Board: MAS city (streets)
Objective: YAMS based
Turns: 4
YAMS cards

Kommandant Eganra: Collect, Assess, Kill the pigeon, Blockade
James: Clear the Area, Forward Base, Decimate, Sabotage
Bold was revealed

Deployment:
Eganra deploys scatters commo tokens around his deployment zone either on buildings (NW and NE corners), in the North building or behind cover. He deploys more cammo markers behind cover up to half way of the board (infiltration) around centre building and Western building. Flag inside north building.
James deploys the bulk of his force in the SW quadrant, with 2 knights in the SE quadrant near the eastern edge. Secretly deploys Order sergeant sniper in western building near civvie. Flag behind SSE building. Western building chosen for both Forward base and Sabotage target.
Eganra then deploys an Assault Pack controller prone on in the NW building.

Turn 1
Eganra begins to rapidly advance a cammo token from his deployment zone in the NW quadrant who proceeds to jump over 2 buildings to end up on top of the western building near the civvie. James immediately reveals his Order Srgt to attempt to them but fails, while the link team successfully discovers to reveal 3x Antipodes, who charge and tear the sniper apart, then attempt to sync with the civvie (fail). A Scout in the northern building then de-cloaks and places a mine at the southern door. A few more cammo markers move forward.
James advances both knights on the eastern side of the board forwards, causing Eganra to de-cloak a scout with sniper on the NE building who open fires on the Magister knight. The knight doges and move into cover behind the Eastern Building with the Teutonic knight. The western forces then advance (Link Team, Knight of Holy Sepulchre and order srgt with spit fire). Eganra, now having seen all bar one of James’ models reveals the Assess card to gain 1 VP.

Turn 2
Eganra firstly places another mine in the Northern building at the eastern door, who moves out and re-cloaks, much like the scout with sniper. Having failed to sync, the antipodes then “eat” the civvie to gain another VP from “Kill the pigeon”. The scout on the ground then moves towards the eastern building and deploys an E/mauler outside next to the building (western side) before running to the northern facing of same building.
James advances the Sepulchre next to the western building and successfully sabotages it for 1VP. The knight then moves up through the building to the top floor, only to be shot at by both the Scout with the sniper, but also a Caterans with a T2 sniper. Both shots hit the holo-projections. The knight then attempts to charge the antipodes, only to be shot again by both snipers. His link team then advances into the western building, with the spitfire advancing forward. The knights also advance into the eastern building.

Turn 3
Eganra starts by moving a cammo token near the centre building towards the spitfire, which then splits into 2, and reveals to be 2 Chasseurs with light flamethrowers. The spitfire order sergeant is then burnt to death. The antipodes proceed to the fallen Sepulchre and successfully collect documents off him, gaining him another 2VP. More cammo markers begin to move forward while the antipodes then jump off the building.
James moves the knights in the east to the 2 floor of the building, while the link team holds.

Turn 4
Eganra’s antipodes decide to return to the top of the building, while his Caterans, now impetuous, jumps off the NW building to behind some crates. His scout next to the Eastern building deploys another E/mauler on the northern edge before re-cloaking and running away. A cammo marker on the NE walkway then moves across the top of the eastern building to the SE walkway.
James orders his eastern knights up to the roof of the building to take on the cammo marker, with the Magister taking lead. Once there, alone with the Scout sniper, but a Tank hunter (walkway) reveal themselves and open fire and miss. The Magister knight opens up with a panserfaus on the tank hunter, while Eganra’s forcers open fire again, and the Magister knight gets himself immobilised by the tank hunters ADHL. The Teutonic knight repeats the past events. Moving back to his link team, they advance to the top floor, to be charged by the antipodes. A messy combat results in the link team being broken and the game to end.

James gains Clear the Area (2VP)
Eganra gains Blockade (1VP)
VPs

Dulydude immediately reveals ninja hacker and moves to inside 8” of both total reaction bot and other bot and successfully hacks the TRB despite a -6mod. Turn 2
Sync moves Knight of Santiago into base contact with tech console and successfully sabotages it, gaining 2VP. He then moves the 2nd Order Sergeant/Auxbot into Dulydude’s deployment zone on the eastern side, and deploys an airstrike marker to net him an extra VP at games end.
Dulydude starts moving the Domaru link team towards Sync Order Sergeant link team. Neko had all 4 potential AROs declared on him and managed to save all and charged into combat. Another order is spent to get 2 more domaru into close combat, both taking 4 AROs each, and only taking 1 wound each. The Domarus then destroy the link team in close combat, netting dulydude 2VP (capture). Dulydude then activates the ninja hacker to move around into base contact with civvie in an effort to synchronise, requiring 2 order to do so, gaining dulydude another VP at games end. The remaining orders were sent on the Domaru again in finishing off the Order Sergeants in close combat.

Turn 3
Sync uses his orders to consolidate his forces on the eastern side of the board to prevent movement towards the airstrike beacon
Dulydude uses his whole order pool on moving the Domaru through to Sync’s flag hidden in the north eastern corner and manages to destroy it in close combat (gaining 2 VP).

Results
At the end of the game, the following objectives are confirmed: Sync gains his beacon VP, Dulydude gains his Carrier Pigeon VP. This bring the totals to Sync 3, Dulydude 5
