Infinity Sydney Slow Grow - Schedule
The monthly round schedule is designed to ensure that all players have a casual structure to collect/build/paint their armies, with the chance to learn the game (and their armies) at a relaxed rate.
We're a pretty casual group, and not everyone can make it in every week - so the monthly rounds give everyone a good chance to participate at each level of play.

Battle Report: District 24
Lone Pathfinder (Yu Jing) vs Fued Oner (Shock Army of Acontecimento)
Scribe: Dulydude
250 points, YAMS (4 turns), City Streets Table
Lone Pathfinder's Objectives: Search the Crate, Triangulation, Blockade, Kill the Boffin
Fued Oner's Objectives: Kill the Boffin, Attrition, Hold!, Prize Fighter
Deployment
Fued chose first turn, Lone chose the southern side and deploy first. Lone deployed traditionally behind the southern buildings, with a Celestial Guard controller and a war correspondent on top of the true south building. He secretly deploys a ninja sniper also on the roof top.
Fued deploys with a Sierra dronbot on top of the northern bunker with a Dragoes TAG near by. He also deploys a Bagh-Mari link team on on the western side of the NW building, and a minesweeper with a Machinist behind the northern building.
Lone then deploys his reserve, a Shang Ji hacker, next to the Celestial Guard.
Turn 1
Fued beings by moving his link team from the NW towards the western tower, then through down around the western side of the South sky scraper to open fire on Lone’s domaru, Rue shi and Kuang Shi with an HMG. The Bagh-Mari manages to take out all three in 2 consecutive orders, but falls to the Kuang Shi chain rifle.
Lone, in a bit of trouble, quickly cancels his Shaolin’s impetous before revealing his ninja sniper, who makes short work of the Sierra Dronbot on the other side of the map. Deciding to put Fued on the back foot, he AD’s a Tiger Solider right behind Fued’s minesweeper and machinist, taking them out before they have a chance to properly react and gaining 1VP in the process. The tiger solider quickly turns on the Dragoes, managing to put 2 wounds on it despite Fued needing to roll 5+ to make the save! The tiger solider then beings to fall back (while still firing), and while he manages to destroy the TAG, the Dragoes’ flamethrower ensure the Tiger soldier won’t fight another day.
Turn 2
Fued, starting in retreat, cancels’ the Bagh-Mari retreat and presses towards the southern building’s stair case, and manages to boarding shotgun both the Ninja sniper and the war correspondent.
Lone, after moving his impetuous Kuang Shi and Shaloin, opens by dropping a smoke grenade on the southern staircase, and then advancing the Shang Ji towards the Bagh-Mari, now on the stairs too. Unable to perform an intuitive shot, the Shang Ji emerges from the smoke to flame the enemy troopers, killing 2 more of the link team while taking a wound himself.
Turn 3
Fued, now limited with orders, chooses to retreat his 2 remaining soldiers. While they make their retreat they manage to kill the Shang Ji, gaining 2 VP for Kill the Boffin and another one for Prize Fighter, netting him 3VP in one hit! They then attempt to kill the Celestial Guard but fail.
Lone, now also in retreat, only cancel’s the Shaolin impetuous, before moving him further around the south towards the Bagh-Mari, killing one of them despite the difficult shot. Finally the Celestial Guard on the roof top open fires at the remaining Bagh-Mari finally destroying Fued’s force.
Turn 4
With the remaining order’s that Lone has, he attempts to get to the crate, but fails to do so. Lone gains Blockade (1VP)
Conclusion
Lone Pathfinder - 2 VPs, Fued Oner - 3 VPs
Fued Oner wins!
